Winter Dry Skin: New Year, New Skin

Had enough pale, flaky dry skin this winter? You're not alone. You can either book a Caribbean get away for some much needed sun and sea or follow my top three tips to regain the fresh glowing skin of summer.

First, exfoliate. Brighten your complexion with a gentle botanical scrub. They remove dead skin cells, unblock pores and stimulate cell turnover, and the aroma is wonderfully refreshing.

Next, moisturize. Moisturizing your face on a daily basis helps keep your skin looking young and healthy for years to come. Look for products that include a sun block to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays that cause premature aging and skin cancer.

Finally, use a bronzer! It's a great way to get that sun-kissed look. There are two options. Natural looking bronzing powder in iridescent shades extend the life of your tan for an illuminating look you can maintain year-round. Or choose a sunless tanner. Make sure it doesn't appear too orange or frosted. A little shimmer goes a long way. Too much shimmer makes skin look unnatural or harsh.

Give your skin a healthy winter makeover, and you'll always have That Certain Something.
